INTRODUCTION OF 5000

5000 is a simple dice game to play with friends and family.  It only requires five 6 sided dice, and a way to keep score.

To decide which players should go first and keep score, everyone should roll one die.  The player who rolls the highest number goes first, and the player who rolls the lowest number must keep score for the game.

THE PLAY

The player begins their turn by rolling all five dice.  A 1, 5 or three of a kind (called counters) must be rolled in order to continue their turn.  Everything else is considered garbage.  A player sets aside at least one counter each roll.  If a 사설토토사이트 successfully rolls all five dice as counters, they may pick up the dice and continue rolling.  A player’s earned points continue to accumulate until they choose to end their turn.  Don’t push your luck too far.  If a player only rolls garbage, their turn is over immediately.  All points for the round are lost.

A player must earn 350 points in order to begin keeping score.  Once that threshold has been passed, a player can end their turns at any time and collect the points they’ve earned.

SCORING

At the completion of a player’s turn, points are awarded for certain dice and combinations.  A player cannot start accumulating points until they have scored at least 350 in one round.

1’s = 100 points each

5’s = 50 points each

Three of a kinds are worth points as well.

Three 2’s = 200 points

… 3’s = 300 points

… 4’s = 400 points

… 5’s = 500 points

… 6’s = 600 points

… 1’s = 1000 points

Rolling a 1-2-3-4-5 in a single roll = 1500 points.  This is called The Big One

WINNING

The player who earns 5000 or more points wins the game.  However, once a player hits 5000 or more, the other players get one more opportunity to go.  If they surpass the “winning” player, they steal the victory for themselves.
